Terms and conditions
These terms govern use of Minha Terra (minhaterra.imigrei.pt), a product of the imigrei house. By creating a dossier or leaving your email, you accept these conditions.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Who we are
Minha Terra is a digital service from imigrei (contact: marcelo@imigrei.pt). It helps immigrants and residents organise documents and profile information to prepare a home-loan file in Portugal.
We are not a bank, not a credit intermediary, we do not grant loans, and we do not make credit decisions on behalf of third parties.
2. The service
You may answer profile questions, save progress with your email, upload documents to a digital dossier, and, if you ask, receive a human review of what is still missing.
Site content and generated lists are practical guidance. They do not replace legal, tax or financial advice, or the final list from the bank, agent or notary.
3. Account and email
To save progress we use the email you provide. You are responsible for that address being accurate and for keeping access to the inbox for verification or resume links.
You may resume an existing dossier with the same email. Starting a new process with the same email may create another dossier — use “I already started” if you want the previous one.
4. Documents and content
Only upload documents that are yours or that you are authorised to share for the household applicants. Do not upload illegal files, third-party files without permission, or content that infringes intellectual property.
You keep ownership of your files. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and show them to you in the service, and to review them if you request a human look.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for spam, abuse, malicious reverse engineering, deliberate overload of infrastructure, or impersonation. We may suspend or delete accounts and dossiers that break these rules.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”. We may change features, fix bugs, or interrupt access for maintenance. When we change these terms in a material way, we update the date on this page; continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated version where applicable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Portuguese and EU law, imigrei is not liable for credit decisions by banks or intermediaries, for delays or refusals by third parties, or for losses from incomplete or outdated information you send us.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded (for example wilful misconduct or gross negligence, where applicable).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In case of dispute, and without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights, the competent Portuguese courts have jurisdiction.
